How do you describe your Brand to people?
A Lifestyle Brand that create apparel and goods for the modern day pioneer. Representing future moguls, present bad asses, and past innovators

What is the motivation behind your whole movement?
My motivation is and will always be, people like me. The ones that are constantly grinding and trying to better themselves in a positive way.

When did you realize you wanted to become a fashion designer?
About 10th grade. I always loved fashion and “Getting Fly”. It was nothing to go into the store a cop this or that, But at the same time I felt like I could put out better Sh*t, it seemed like I was wasting my money on things I could design way better. I started Heat Pressing my designs on tees and selling them out my locker. It was then I realized, “Hey! maybe I need to get more serious with this.”

And what was the first article of clothing you ever designed?
Good question, lol. Reckless Rebels is actually my second brand, I had a brand in High School called Teenage Trendsettaz (Chuckles) and my first design was the “Bones & Bowties” Tee. I use to sell those tees out my locker and I can remember everyone wanting one. It got to a point where I had a locker full of tees and had to take all my books home cause I had no more space in my locker.

What was the main factor for launching your line when you did?
My main factor for Launching my line was to introduce Reckless Rebels as a brand and a lifestyle to go with it.

What is your favorite part about conceptualizing a design?
My favorite part of conceptualizing an idea would have to be knowing that it will come to life and someone will be wearing it. it makes me feel happy on the inside when I see random people wearing my brand, it lets me know that im doing my job.

Do you feel like what you are doing is important?
Yes, I certainly feel this is important. It shows that anything is possible and it also shows that younger individual who wants to do the same that the opportunity is there. I mean i’m only 20 years old and i’m just getting started, Reckless Rebels shows that this is just the beginning. Why waste talent God has blessed you with?

Your concepts are very unique and original is there a pressure to always maintain that consistency with your new designs?
Yes it definitely is. I always make sure whatever i’m working on or put out reflects the brand because at the end of the day, the key is to reflect your brand the best way possible. I would hate to confuse the loyal supporters of the brand.

How do you separate yourself from others?
Many brands these days are boring and plain; for example, they choose one theme and stick with it. Reckless Rebels has no set theme I design what I want the way I want to, I don’t really follow design rules, if I feel confident in it then I stand behind my product 100%. Some of these brands today put out garments they wont even wear themselves, which goes to show that their not really in it for the passion.

Would you sell if someone came along and offered to buy you out?
(shouts) HELL NO! lol nah but I cant see myself selling the brand because I wouldn’t want to see it go through changes after I shaped it to what it is today. This is my child and i’m not putting it up for adoption. (laughs)

Lastly, could you talk about any long-term goals you have in mind?
I actually have a few but my most important would be to remain consistent in this very competitive fashion world. as for all my other goals; you’ll have to wait to see them come to life.
