What producers, songwriters and/or artists do you see as your primary inspirations?
My primary inspirations are endless…but coming up I listened to a lot of Kanye, 9th Wonder, Black Milk, A Tribe Called Quest, Common, Nas, Elzhi (from Slum Village) Pharrell/Neptunes, Timbaland and Missy etc etc

Do you have a favorite musical project that you’ve worked on?
I don’t have a favorite musical project that I’ve worked on yet, I have a few favorite songs and videos though. I’m very proud of my most recent videos such as “Na-Tu-Ral and How I Live” which I edited myself.

What was the main factor for launching your career when you did?
I think the main factor for me launching my career when I did was when I finally realized that music/art is what I was MADE to do and I don’t want to do anything else but this. My mind was set and made up.

Who are some people you would like to work with?
I’d like to work with most my influences honestly. 9th Wonder, Common, Elzhi, Black Milk. Of some NY legends too. 50, Nas, Tribe, aw man the list goes on.

Do you feel like what you are doing is important?
I do feel what I’m doing is important. As any artist should. Music is important, it gives me an even stronger and louder voice. So while people are paying attention to me, I’m going to help out as much as I can with this gift I was given.

How is the internet changing your craft? The internet is crazy lol. It helps and destroys at the same time. It helped me get my music way further out, it’s great for marketing and promoting. It hasn’t changed my craft though, I won’t let it.

Lastly, could you talk about any long-term goals or talents you have in mind?
Long term goals? There’s so many…Uuuh, musically I want to KNOW music in its entirety. I want to learn a few instruments and compose MUSIC. I want to help out the city the raise me as much as I can. Open opportunities for the less fortunate…and lots more lol.
